🔍 Enhanced Replacement Filter: Whirlpool WHA4FF5 Premium Capacity Review

I have this filter behind another filtration system. If this was the only filter in the whole house then yes, it probably wouldn't work very well and would probably need to be changed every month or two. But I have it as a "second line" to the entire system. I get a full year of it with no noticeable change in water pressure. I see the guys changing it up every year and it definitely does the job.

I bought this after checking TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), the EPA limit is 500ppm and my drinking water was 458 so after reading the reviews on this carbon filter (people shouldn't have tested the water before and after) but there were no changes in the quality of the water. TDS and even PH stayed the same and I tested it the first day and every day after 4 overall NOT HAPPY IF I CAN RETURN THE WET FILTER I WOULD!

I had several water softeners but they kept breaking and I woke up swollen from the salt in the water. This filter only lasts me 1 month and I follow a slower flow of water. In my opinion the best home filters on the market. They do not reduce water flow as the pleated filter design provides a large surface area. However depending on your water filtration needs you may need a heavier filter and this pleated design won't work for you but overall I found this to be a great sand/scale filter with a layer of activated carbon for other contaminants. The last 6 months between replacements.

We bought this hot tub in place of Dupont and installed it on January 29th. Less than 2 months after the installation had to be changed again. The Dupont brand was slightly better, so the moral of the story is in the reviews of how long the filters last. UPDATE: I'm downgrading the rating to 1 star. Last time I estimated how long it took.
