Lantee PG16 cable gland fit for 10mm to 14mm cable range. Make of 4 parts, lock nut, main unit, seal, sealing nut, easy to use and install. Special design of clamping claw and seal, give this gland a high water proof. Preservative nylon PA66 material, dust proof and will not be easy to be destroyed by salt, alkali, alcohol, oil, fat and other general solvents. Package include: 20 x PG16 cable gland connectors

Nicely engineered, easy to install and easy to tighten

These are beautifully engineered. They can be hand-tightened, and they become waterproof on tightening. I installed a solar-powered lighting system in a barn with these, and they worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Worked exactly as I had hoped. Very nice having the whole package (Gland and nut) already to go.

  • May require special tools or accessories for installation

Doesn't include necessary rubber washers!

Every cable gland purchase I've made comes with a rubber washer to seal water out of the junction between the box and gland to provide weather resistance of that connection to the exterior EXCEPT this one.The whole point behind this product is to keep water/rain out! Reached out to the company and said "hey you didn't provide washers." They basically said "we don't supply those and you're right, we should." Ok so what are you going to do about it?! Nothing.   • It is important that a Gland grip the cord to provide both a seal and strain relief. These do that job

  • May not be suitable for higher voltage applications

Cheap but they work

If you want a super tight fit, these are not the best but they work for not too critical applications that do not require a lot of tension resistance. Threads will pull out if too much tension is applied. Buy better ones if you need high tension resistance.

Good product. in my review

Liked the product and have used them with my 12/2 and 12/3 metal cased wire for lights and electrical boxes in my barn, shed, and garage. The last order didn’t have the O-Rings with them that provides the weather proofing but I used anyway. Theses fit 1/2” threaded electrical box openings.
