If you want a super tight fit, these are not the best but they work for not too critical applications that do not require a lot of tension resistance. Threads will pull out if too much tension is applied. Buy better ones if you need high tension resistance.

- shank is to short for a pvc box with a thicker wall. would work ok on a thin metal box. Should be longer
