Whiteside 2408 Router Bits - Enhanced Diameter for Enhanced Performance Review

This was my first cutter and it is very sharp. Everything I've read online suggests Whiteside is at a higher level. I highly recommend this beat.

Don't forget to tighten the bearing retaining screw. I didn't have a wrench with me when I used it and almost ruined the project when it came off the part. Luckily I sensed something was wrong and stopped, otherwise I would have looked around.

You can't go wrong with the quality of the Whiteside wood router. was received in excellent condition and quickly (like all Revain orders).

I installed a maple log countertop with a farmhouse sink underneath. The bit was needed to cut the countertop flush with the sink. Worked great! Sharp as a razor! I could have made a pillow out of shavings, they were so smooth and light, no chips or bleeding. No burn marks, although the user must check this. The bit stayed sharp after many passes. Spend money. $20+ is better than a thousand for a new countertop!

I bought this to cut the guitar body flush with the template I made. I roughly carved the body with my jigsaw as before with no problems. I have a Dewalt DW618PK so I definitely don't have any power issues. The first and only time I used this racquet, the bearing flew out within the first 5 minutes and bit into the body of the guitar. The quality of woodworking (and IMO electronics) products. I hadn't heard of Whiteside until recently and wanted to give it a try. I use a Bosch router and tried it on a cabinet I was building and at first I missed the finish as I didn't feel any friction. Then I noticed that he had cut off the edge that was sticking out nicely. Admittedly that's a lot for any router, but the one I have is a pretty solid 2 1/4 HP Milwaukee stationary base that does a great job on other router jobs. I have about half a dozen Whiteside tips and they're all really great. Super sharp, cuts through, doesn't stick. This guy is a whole different story. So far all my cutters have been Amana, Freud and Bosch. I also have some cheap Chinese mad bits that were meant for one time use but worked amazingly well and lasted so ended up in my bit box.
