This instrument is built with a lot of work and mistakes, but then it works great. Didn't work well with hickory because hickory is so hard and brittle. Worked great on white and red oak and cherry. The setup tool they sent was useless. Watch the Joiners Guild of America video and cut installation time in half. Make sure the wood you use for the installation is exactly the same thickness as your final pieces. And the pieces are straight. Each curve in one piece with a gap in the corner.
Found a very detailed tutorial video on YT for installation and setup. Bought a Rockler attachment as a STARTING POINT. Both are very helpful. Another note, unlike the other reviewer who gave it 3 stars, this works great with BB plywood. You must use the same plywood for installation as it differs from 1/2" or 3/4"…

This product from a well-known manufacturer, which is delivered fairly quickly, does not need to be taken immediately to a wood shop to see if it works. Based on Whiteside's reputation I would rate this product 3 stars out of 5. But In doesn't give In an undeserved 5 out of 5 rating just because an intermediary company that provided me with a product shipping service could drive…
