Perfect for making dados out of smaller plywood

Had to make a stack of dados out of 1/2 thick plywood. I used an oversized 1/2 bit and the shelves fit perfectly. Very satisfied. Good price for a 3 piece set

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Compatibility

These are very good bits, they cut very nice clean grooves

These are very good bits, they make very good clean grooves. However, the plywood does not fit into the groove as it should. You need to move the cutter guide and do a second pass.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

Not as advertised, good fit for milling machine parts and accessories

It is supposed to have a 15/32" bit but the 31/64" bit is too wide for the Baltic Birch I use. If you look closely they tell you the true dimensions in very small type, but they seem to be trying to hide them. Very disappointing. Bought a real 15/32" Freud at my local woodcraft store.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Reliability

Great case, poor quality.

That's what I get when I buy a set. never again. Using 3/4 the smaller size and a 1/4 inch fit on pine and red oak the bit flutes broke after half a day of use. I think I have 15 passports? What a waste of money. I will try to get my money back. Good side before it broke, really pure dados.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • A few little things

Highly recommended for power tools and hand tools

These bits come in a nice case. They are good quality and sharp. I used the large one to cut the grooves for the 3/4" plywood. The cut was perfect. Sharp edges and no "lint". Dado was the perfect size for plywood. I could fit it into the cut without a hammer insert and the connection was nice and tight good set buy one for yourself

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Interchangeable

The obvious choice is power tool parts and accessories

The bits were very well protected. The plastic container was good. The inside of the bits have been covered with a layer of edge protector and oil. All bits are professionally processed and sharpened. When used, the edges are cut very cleanly at low heat. Very well balanced. I would buy Whiteside again anytime. Try them and you will probably agree. Costs were lower than big department stores and bigger market brands like Frued and Dewalt. Much better quality and made in the USA

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Basically everything is fine, but...

Whiteside makes the best router bits

These router bits are very good and save a lot of time setting up to route plywood panels. Rather than sneaking up on a fit with multiple passes, these bits allow you to make a single pass and match the groove size to the thickness of most sheets of plywood available. I haven't used these bits that much to see how long they last, but my other Whiteside bits have been professionally sharpened multiple times and are working like new.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
