I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I bought it in conjunction with the Asus whistle, after using D-Link. D-Link got me. Asus is completely satisfied. They work without failures for 2 years, and maybe 3. I hooked a screw to it, now I have a gig cloud. Now we need a HTPP server, it's a pity that it can't)) In general, it can be expensive, but it works and works perfectly, and with D-Links and others like them, there are constant jambs and a lottery.

Pros
  • They have been working without failures for 2 years, or maybe 3. It remains only for him to open the pages for me
Cons
  • no usb 3.0

I took it used, without glitches. Most likely just the firmware is already dopilin for a year of sales. I wanted to set up a simple talker for people in the 24 * 7 mode, I had to install an alternative firmware. Now always Mumble works. Over time, I figured out the alternative firmware and abandoned the standard DownloadMaster due to buggy. I put an alternative to Transmission for torrents, and for http I use Pyload. The plans are to hang a webcam to track the child from the phone, computer.

Pros
  • A good signal, the presence of a microSD slot inside the case, alternative firmware, 2 USB, and the appearance does not spoil the mood. VPN server - 30-40 megabits - that's great, you don't need to keep a server for these things. 3tr for used a router and such a filling - you won’t find the best option for your home.
Cons
  • Weak processor for 2 USB. You can't really see Full HD content from a USB hard drive, it doesn't have time to read it. And when a couple of devices pull something from it, the processor chokes. Well, the CPU is rather weak, frankly. AC56u - I cores, AC68U - 2 cores, and this one is in between and neutered. Better take AC56u if the radius of the apartment is enough. And so, a router for the home will go for 3

Worst purchase ever, don't make the same mistake.

in general, I thought it was a wonderful device, but in fact it's crap . I got pinned by buying 9 such devices for the organization . we are waiting for DD-WRT =( In Access Point mode, there is a guest network, but it does not work as a guest network . that is, there are actually multiple SSIDs, but packets from one network to another run quietly . I especially get pinned by guys in those. ASUS support: Hello Thank you for contacting ASUS technical support. Please send a link to the source

Pros
  • User friendly setting, speed, customizable firmware.
Cons
  • 1. NOT ADMIN FRIENDLY DEVICE 2. Guest network is not supported in hotspot mode 3. when cloning the settings to the second same point, the MAC addresses of the internal interfaces are also copied, which makes it impossible to use 2 or more devices with the copied configuration on the same subnet, due to terrible collisions.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I liked the device as a whole an order of magnitude more than previous routers, including asus rt-n13u. Particularly impressive is the operation of the device as an ftp and print server, even with a heavy load, no lags were noticed. A nice bonus, there is a utility in the software for torrents and other peer-to-peer networks, which previously could only be used by flashing to non-official software. And most importantly . The speed is crazy!

Pros
  • Work stability. "Cloud" chips. Dual mode operation. Transfer rate. Elementary management.
Cons
  • Work stability. "Cloud" chips. Dual mode operation. Transfer rate. Elementary management.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I bought asus to replace a regular router from a provider, which, when two devices are connected to the network, immediately becomes dull; in the bathroom does not pull; the signal drops out. Rt-ac 66u solved this problem. Everyone is happy (in the evening 4 people and everyone connects, the speed is good). For an apartment, it is ideal, the signal is powerful, it gets even in the common hall.

Pros
  • It supports modern 8022022c communication standards, although everyone told me that it’s not necessary for a home router, - now all company standards are switching to high-speed wireless communications. 3 antennas - it breaks through the walls of the apartment (I live on the 4th floor, the house is brick, and while I go down to the 3rd floor, I can download the file / music to the phone). Blue lights, narrow windows - standing right in front of the bed, at night the light is not annoying. Lightweight, small size, pushed into a narrow shelf, can be easily hidden, there is a stand - placed vertically or horizontally. 256 GB of RAM - well, that speaks for itself. Very easy setup of wireless interfaces, there is parental control. There are two USB ports, you can connect a printer.
Cons
  • I didn’t find it, for a three-room apartment and a bunch of gadgets to connect = the router is excellent!

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

in general, the best router for the house that I ever worked with (you have to work with everyone), even cisco didn’t lie next to it, although whoever, cisco, belkin, and mikrotik were the best, but now they are already different weight categories. has an abundance of settings including network security, has its own vpn server, and you can set it up both on ausus. Com and on your own host, support for torrent clouds three times and much more. this model has been standing for two years already,

Pros
  • quick reliable good support regular ates many possibilities has advanced technology great network home server good signal
Cons
  • AC technology is not popularized, the only drawback, but not of the router itself, but of iron manufacturers who are not very keen on promoting new technologies

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

The TP841ND has remained in use for three years with no signs of stopping, despite the fact that the Wi-Fi connection failed whenever the microwave was turned on and the kitchen TV was at the time linked to DLNA and functioning. Additionally, the old man crashed and I had to help him reboot the present machine when it was given to a stress test that included auto-ating Windows 10 and youtubing at 1080p at 60 frames per second. WAN DOMRU 70 Mbps, 1 TV Ethernet, behind it is a device mounted on…

Pros
  • Fantastic gadget with externally accessible torrent client (at 5 GHz) and unlocked 2.4 GHz Wifi; unfortunately, its user interface is not compatible with Apple's iPad (everything is great on an Android device). The TV may be wall-mounted, and the cords can be concealed behind the bracket.
Cons
  • Prots, the system bottleneck when it's running at 100% load, either DLNA or SAMBA works, however if SAMBA is accessed via the ezernet and streaming is done over 5Ghz Wi-Fi, a little more slowness is conceivable but not complete friezes.

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Its pros: 10 years of work without complaints. So the investment was justified. Its cons: The power button was pressed out over time (ceased to be held in the on state). I had to fix it tightly.

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

I ordered with a check, so when they brought it, everything was quickly signed. Opening the box, I was surprised to find that ASUS AC1750 (and not ASUS RT-AC66U) is written on the device case. However, the web interface shows that it is ASUS RT-AC66U and the firmware is being downloaded for ASUS RT-AC66U. Curiosity, however. Has pros: Acquired as a bridge for an existing ASUS RT-AC66U. The setup took a little time, there were no special problems. Cons: ASUS RT-AC66U_B1 works as a bridge to…

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

The legendary router that I bought when it first came out - in 2022. It has been working 24/7 for 6 years and there was only a problem with the button. The longest operating time without a reboot is just over a year. I'm looking for a more productive solution with more extensive coverage. But this model still drags superbly. I don’t remember the firmware anymore, it’s like from Merlin. I forgot my admin password to view Before that, there was Asus RT-N10 - which even in LAN did not pass 100…

Pros
  • - Works stably - There are USB ports - High transmission speed. 6 years have passed, and he is still holding on . just a stoic.
Cons
  • - It heats up a lot during active work (although it can all be so) - After two years of operation, the power button "bounced off". Those. turn it on and it won't lock. Maybe the high temperature latch broke. I tucked it in with a piece of foil and it has been working like this for 4 years.

What a horrible quality, wasted money for nothing.

Used this unit for 1.5 years. I didn’t want to write a bad review on ASUS, but today it boiled up, the last straw - this router turned into a brick. The symptoms appeared a long time ago - the firmware flew off for no apparent reason (when I went to it I saw slurred messages instead of the web interface), the Wi-Fi disappeared. It was treated for the time being by flashing. I suspect that the official firmware was simply hacked remotely, but to be honest, this does not make it any easier. For 8

Pros
  • Speed, design, functionality
Cons
  • Reliability

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average product, you can do better.

The wireless network is open by default and not configured in any way, WPS is not enabled. Run the torrent downloader and DLNA at the same time due to the low speed of working with the disk - and dependencies are guaranteed. The speed in tunnels is not impressive, so far I have enough for about a hundred in PPTP, but, judging by independent tests and the load on the percentage, there is no reserve. A margin is also needed for a weak USB. Alternative firmware also does not give an increase in…

Pros
  • - monumental production - attention to detail in design - cloud features - vpn server - thank god there is no USB 3.0
Cons
  • - mediocre firmware with careful study and daily work - insane and very confusing interface in places (using settings in percent o_O) - frivolous speed with USB drives (no more than 10 MB / s with NTFS) - when operating horizontally, it heats up very much and still stinks (maybe it will fade over time, but in order not to get warm vertically, you need to turn it 90 degrees) - already a couple of times stupidly didn’t distribute the Internet, although it didn’t seem to hang and responded (reboot helped)

Lousy product, low quality.

it's not clear what kind of piece of iron is needed with such a cutting speed . and the price is not at all small. the tariff is 65 meg, I get 20-25 by cable for wifi 30-40 meg. :(

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

This device has been very helpful. On TP-Link and D-Link equipment, I was unable to configure the bridge/repeater. This all took 15 minutes. The buggy interface made me nervous, some of the usual settings are missing - instead of them, a buggy, but solid "user-wizard". After the implementation, we have a common network with a neighboring building + 2 USB printers, set up "next-next-ready". Instead of one antenna, I connected 15 dB from TP-Link - pleases with the transmission speed

Pros
  • + large selection of settings + wide functionality + workmanship + removable antennas
Cons
  • - price, for TP-Link analogues - from 3500 to 5000 - buggy web interface, not enough patience to finish installation

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Pretty normal router. Before it was Linksys E3200. My requirements for functionality are low, so I simply chose one of the most productive routers to replace it. And all sorts of print servers and the rest are not important to me, because I have no impressions about them. And yet, more satisfied than the previous one. Here the price is also high, but there is a service in 2022. Linksis had to be simply thrown away, because the service can only help by sympathizing (because it is located…

Pros
  • Works flawlessly.
Cons
  • Not found yet.

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

Some pros: • On LAN/WAN ports including WI-FI keeps good speed; • Possibility to hang on the wall; • A lot of tools integrated into native firmware; (VPN, FTP, UPnP, DDnS, Print Server, IPv6, Firewall); • Two usb 2.0 ports for connecting external HDD or other devices. UPnP for watching movies works great; • Ease of setup, and it seemed to me the ability to configure almost any provider; • Long time without failures and reboot; • 5G; • ASUS AiCloud 2.0; • "Wake on Lan" is integrated into

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

The old Asus is outdated and the power has burned out. Due to lack of time, D-Link 615 was bought - slow, speed floats, glitches . Because I have been choosing a router for a long time, I chose it right away so that everything was there. I compared it with Netgear - then such ones in the same design are more expensive at once by at least 3 thousand. and less speedy. I waited until the market settled down and bought. Joy and only - the speed of n increased by 2-3 times. Because not used to its…

Pros
  • Quick New Quiet
Cons
  • A very strange algorithm - if the ranges are very "crammed", then laptops are often disconnected. Non-friendly color indicators.

Who paired with the asus usb n53 adapter in the 5Ghz range jumps the connection speed, then 120, 150, 162 mb / s, instead of 300, lower the transmitter power to 30 mW. This option is in the 5Ghz settings (Professional) I strongly do not advise you to purchase a Netgear A6200 adapter for it, because. connection speed to the router will be reduced (300-400 Mbit / s - personally verified) and the AC standard will become useless! Use only the Asus USB-AC53 adapter with it.

Pros
  • Solid design, coverage area (adjustable in settings), wall-mountable, powerful stuffing, new Wi-Fi AC standard. It does not overheat at all, as it was written below.
Cons
  • It seems to me that the firmware is not yet fully developed, while the usb ac53 adapter is not on sale in order to evaluate all the capabilities of the router.

At home, the 2.4 range is packed to capacity with neighbors. The previous router from Mikrotik in such conditions began to work poorly. As a solution to the problem, I decided to switch to 5 GHz with support for the ac standard. As a result, I bought a kit: ASUS RT-AC66U, for an ASUS PCE-AC68 stationary computer, for an ASUS USB-AC56 laptop. The 68th did not buy, because I need a stupid router. At 5 GHz, in addition to two computers, a Blackberry phone, a son's iPhone and a Google Nexus…

Pros
  • Network speed. Two ranges. Ease of setup.
Cons
  • I sealed the LEDs with opaque tape :) The signal in the range of 2.4 is weak. Glitchy web interface.

The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

Despite the fact that I was not lucky, I'm still happy with this device)))! Has pros: In general, I am satisfied with the design, speed, set it up in 5 minutes, connected a smartphone, tablet, smart TV, laptop to the router, everything was fine and worked fine, if not for one BUT. ))))))) Got cons: It broke down a month later, after the automatic firmware ate, I never saw the new firmware, because the router died during the ate process, the router menu showed error 105 and something related to…
