Description of Wi-Fi signal amplifier (repeater) Tenda A27, white

The A27 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 repeater designed specifically for large spaces. In terms of its speed characteristics, A27 significantly exceeds Wi-Fi 5 equipment, reaching speeds up to 1201 Mbps at 5 GHz, and up to 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz. The A27 has two dual-band antennas with a 5dB signal booster each, which helps to increase the Wi-Fi zone. One of the main advantages of A27 is the “Wi-Fi +” function, which will make it easy to build a full-featured Mesh network with Tenda routers and Mesh systems that also support Wi-Fi + A27 also supports an automatic settings pop-up page and is equipped with an external smart indicator that greatly simplifies user setup process. In addition, A27 has an external Gigabit Ethernet port, which is used for wired connections from Smart TV, PC, set-top box, PS4 and other devices, making A27 more versatile in application.

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Able to work as an additional point and modem. Normally copes with its task, the coverage really expands greatly. Able to create a mesh system. There is a web interface, which I needed only for configuration, there is no point in climbing there anymore. The speed does not cut, it is about the same as that of the router. It breaks through walls with minimal loss of signal and speed. In general, the most simple repeater, you don’t even really need to configure it.

Pros
  • Removes "dead" zones, adjusts in a couple of clicks, looks normal, compact
Cons
  • LAN port on the side

Bought for an apartment. The router is at the beginning of the apartment, the repeater is placed approximately in the center. Between them, the signal is stable, at least judging by the indicator. The speed does not seem to sag, it is the same as it was just on the router, but the signal coverage area has become much better. Now in all corners of the apartment the signal is stable. Set up very quickly, 5 minutes and everything works.

Pros
  • Easy to connect and set up, works flawlessly, strong signal, good coverage
Cons
  • No standalone app

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

It does its job perfectly. It works for me in tandem with a simple dual-band router, then I plan to replace the router with a normal one, to support WiFi 6. The repeater has a smart indicator, with the help of which it is clearly clear where to put the repeater. The coverage area is large, in my apartment the network is stable in all corners. It is configured through a web interface, everything is as simple as possible there. The network is stable without dumps and drawdowns. Ping is small…

Pros
  • WiFi 6, strong signal, works with Mesh systems, easy to connect, dimensions
Cons
  • Inconvenient location of the Lan port, I would like to see it from below

Everything is very fast in setting up, just plugged it in, went into it, hooked it up to my router and everything works. My router is relatively old and without WiFi support, but it works fine with it. A repeater with a router works like a mesh network, i. E. one access point and seamless coverage. So it turns out much cheaper than taking the whole mesh system. The repeater itself can be connected as a separate router, but here the functionality is already limited. On a signal, everything is…

Pros
  • Easy to set up, can be used as a router, able to create a seamless network with a router
Cons
  • I would like to have a separate application for management

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

The repeater is set up quickly. It does not take up much space in the outlet, and it is small itself. There is a smart LED that shows if the repeater is in a normal position. The most stable signal when lit in blue. The speed doesn't cut at all. Doesn't cut out on its own. Well, of course, there is WiFI 6, a reserve for the future, so to speak. The repeater itself can be used as a separate access point. Perhaps someone will come in handy.

Pros
  • Works stably, dual band, WiFi 6, perfectly removes dead zones, easy to set up, takes up little space in the outlet, can be used as an access point
Cons
  • No

I like everything, the repeater is not buggy, the firmware is normal, the speed is high, due to the support of mu-mimo it passes walls well in both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the connection speed is high, in conjunction with RX3, it is easy to set up, I didn’t have to fiddle with the firmware, the interface is understandable, the speed with prima visibility at 5 GHz is 120 mb / s, I think it can be more, but the provider can no longer cope, any content is played without brakes, there is a gigabit…

Pros
  • Easy setup, convenient light indication of the optimal distance, wi-fi 6, mu-mimo, stable operation under load, high signal strength
Cons
  • Need a separate outlet
