Everything is very fast in setting up, just plugged it in, went into it, hooked it up to my router and everything works. My router is relatively old and without WiFi support, but it works fine with it. A repeater with a router works like a mesh network, i. E. one access point and seamless coverage. So it turns out much cheaper than taking the whole mesh system. The repeater itself can be connected as a separate router, but here the functionality is already limited. On a signal, everything is fine, the speed does not drop, the walls break through.
