🚣 Versatile Wilderness Systems Universal Transom Trolling Motor Mount for Kayaks Review

Great for my kayak. This is a Precetion Outlaw 11.5 built for a trolling motor. So I bought it and it fits great and is sturdy. I had to cut out a small piece of wood to make up the space for the trolling motor to tighten.

The vertical part of the plate is too thin to mount the motor, now I have to modify the plate to make it work. For $100 you would think it would work right away, it would be cheaper if the store made a very dissatisfied product.

It works. But this is not a finished product. You will need to make a gasket as the metal is too thin and you will need a back plate which is not included. The supplied screws are too short, so annoying. However, I am satisfied with the end product. It's probably worth more than $50.

Bought to use my stern mount trolling motor on my kayak which has room in the back for a Power Pole mount. Although the hole pattern is correct, the bracket is too wide to fit in the recess and a shim was required to raise it an inch from its mounting position. Likewise, the motor mounting surface is too thin to mount a trolling motor and another spacer many times thicker is needed.
