I was given this tool to remove my beer faucets for maintenance and cleaning after breaking the pin of a stamped steel wrench (available anywhere) trying to remove the pressure cap nut. After a little research on the internet I found this wrench; This tool did the job without any errors. I highly recommend it.
Very nice box wrench. Got it to see if it would work with the receiver extension nut (lock nut) that Knights Armament Co. Now uses to mount the receiver/buffer tube extension and end plate to the bottom of the AR receiver. It was tight but I was able to insert the pin into the indentations and tighten the nut securely. It didn't damage the surface or leave any marks. Brownells makes a nice tool for the job that also includes a torque wrench socket. But if you want something cheaper this is a…
This wrench is exactly what I needed and looks exactly like the picture. I have an old lathe where this tool was recommended for removing the adjustment mechanism. They used this tool on a lot of equipment back then, but not on my lathe. However, I have tried two different types of strap wrenches without success. When this tool arrived I drilled a shallow hole in the mechanism to insert a pin into the tool. With very little effort, this tool removed the gear perfectly. See the photos I posted…
