For whip antennas good for antennas

A very good choice for canister pins only in my opinion. Drivers, if you connect your radios using a 'factory' coaxial cable, your radio will not work. Period.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Requires socket

Truck mount for every taste

Stylish mount for attaching a CB antenna. Keeps bugs and dirt away from cords. The only issue I have is that newer trucks require longer bolts to reach and hold them together.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are doubts

Excellent mount. I'm moving at high speed and getting .

Great fit. I'm moving at high speed, hitting rough terrain and banging my lower limbs with the antenna. This thing didn't loosen or move or anything. He stayed strong.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some trouble

Wilson is reliable.

I've used them before. Easy to install and hard to kill. I usually get a few years of this on every truck. I just take them apart and desalt them in spring to keep the SWR readings down.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Speed

the solid part is the best of the antennas

This part of my antenna was solid and held up well, but the top part broke off at the base of the coil when I hit a low hanging branch. I only went about 10 MPH and didn't seem to hit very hard, but it was enough to snap off the tip of the antenna, it should be steel where it connects, not plastic

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not sure

STURDY ANTENNA BRACKET

I received this bracket with a Wilson TRUCKER 305-550 5000W antenna. I added one thing that should have been included was EIGHT 1/4" stainless steel flat washers, one under each bolt head and one under each lock washer. before digging into the mounting surface. I ran into a very unusual situation, from which I think is becoming too common in this Chinese world - although stainless steel bolts have a standard 1/4 x 20 thread and stainless steel nuts have a 7/16" hex, dumb bolt heads require a…

This part of my antenna was solid and held up well but the top part broke off at the base of the coil when I hit a low hanging tree limb I was just driving about 10mph and didn't seem to hit it hard but it was enough to snap off the tip of the antenna, it should be steel not plastic where it connects.

This is a good deal

I like this item because you get two good fittings for less than you would pay for them individually. I often use aluminum mounting brackets in a variety of ways. They are of good quality. The elastic hairpin is an excellent base for fiberglass whips. For my final application, I placed a heavy 5-foot Firestik on top of the gum. The rubber strap works great but this antenna is quite heavy and the aluminum mount buckled a little under heavy loads when I was comfortable in the jeep which has…
