🍴 Winco 6-Inch Stainless Steel Strainer: Fine Mesh for Medium Filtering Review

I love this cookware. I have used it so many times. It allows liquids to pass through easily. I find cleaning a bit difficult due to the mesh but not tedious enough to give a bad review.

I ordered a set of fine mesh skimmers and they were supposed to be 5.5 inches, they weren't, they could be 3 inches. So I found this 6 inch fryer and it was exactly what I wanted from our fryer, it's a larger fryer and it's the perfect size.

I like my new kitchen appliance. I use it for tacos, popcorn chicken, friend chicken, etc. It also cleans your oil when you're frying something like a tortita. There is a really fine network. I don't have a dishwasher, I hand wash this strainer and hang to dry. he looks solid.

Given the low price I can hardly complain that the construction is a little flimsy. It's clearly not the most ergonomic and the handle flexes a bit. The basket is very flat, maybe 1.5 cm or so. A few visible metal seams, but not many places for water to collect (as is often the case with many cheap kitchen utensils). I am happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a fine stainless steel screen because the Calphalon screen broke after a few uses. The Calphalon strainer has a handle that is connected to the strainer with 3 spot welds and the welds broke rendering the strainer unusable. The design of this filter looks much stronger.
