I bought this film to protect the carpet next to the big window from fading. I only wanted to cover the bottom two feet of the window where the angle of the sun hits the carpet directly. This product was extremely easy to install once you read and followed T's instructions and everything is exactly as described. I bought this product to reduce the UV rays coming through my window as some of my plants were getting sunburnt. I saw another review that said it only blocks about 50% UV as opposed to the advertised 99%, but I decided to purchase the product anyway as I think it should be enough to protect my skin to protect plants. I have already purchased this product without testing it. I still had to apply some more film to various windows and wanted to make sure it actually worked as advertised.
