Really good quality and makes international wine transport easy!

We took some wine abroad in our checked luggage and it made packing easier and also kept the bottles safe and sound without taking up much room in our suitcase. In fact, our European family members were so impressed with them they kept asking where we got them! They are really thick and good quality and seem to hold up more than once except the sticky edge only works on them once. If you unwrap the wine very carefully and then wrap the ribbon back around it, you might be able to find anotherโ€ฆ

They offer comfort and confidence, that little bit more.

Things are cool and comfy I'll give it to them. They feel they have to work. rzunimag. The bubble wrap could be a little thicker, but in most cases that's fine. However, the seal is not waterproof. The question arises as to why he is doing this at all. I checked all my bags after the trip by cutting open the top third and pulling out the bottle. Then I filled the bottom 2/3 full with water, and every last one leaked (at normal atmospheric pressure, I might add). Failure in an airplane atโ€ฆ

Very well thought out product - protects your wine and clothes

I bought these before traveling to Europe hoping to carry a few bottles of wine safely in my suitcase. I've had mixed results in the past, packing wine bottles between clothes, in boots, etc, and broken wine bottles not only make a huge mess when they're red, they ruin pretty much everything else in the suitcase. I used all 8 on the way back and have to admit I was skeptical. I fully expected at least one bottle to break in my overloaded suitcases. But I'm happy to report that I was dead wrong.

A decent way to pack bottles

These disposable bags are good for cushioning wine when transporting it in a suitcase. They're probably airtight, although thankfully I never had to find out if that was the case. They seal just like a postal envelope and remove the strip showing the adhesive to seal the package securely. I believe they can be *reusable* if you are careful to remove the filling and protect them when not in use. However, I wouldn't count on it. I've been to Sonoma and Napa California recently and a lot ofโ€ฆ

All wine, no whining.

If you live in a state that doesn't ship alcohol without a license (ahem, Kansas/Missouri) and you don't trust a carrier with your best bottles, either have a bloody awesome farewell party, or you buy them, pack the wrapped bottles around your clothes in your strongest suitcase and hope for the best. Success โ€“ all eight returned to Washington from Kansas City safely. it is safest to send. That's how your stuff ends up in Kansas City in the first place (in Dad's linen closet).
