Stop the recess - shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Easy installation on our motorhome. Trailer 1000 made a small hole in the fiberglass roof. I used Dikor to "glue" it to the roof. Works perfect!

Works very well. Fits spares

I installed it on the roof of a trailer and it protects the rubber roof very well. You could see where the roof was worn prior to installation and this will protect the roof much better. Installing on a trailer roof is well worth the cost and time. Much cheaper than a new rubber roof.

This item is NOT required if you are purchasing Winegard.

This item is NOT required if you are purchasing the Winegard Traveler SKA-008 mounting plate. I bought both just in case the mounting plate doesn't slide out far enough to be under the rubber wheel on the antenna. I don't think that piece of metal with 4 screws is worth the price.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • unreliable

This is probably not needed.

Not what I expected. It's only a few inches by a few inches and if you order a large plate (ska-008) you won't need it. However, if you are mounting the dish on the roof of your RV I would definitely recommend a large plate for support. You only need THIS plate to support your hand when you're out and only when you haven't supported the Trav'ler on your roof. and your hand lies directly on the soft membrane of your roof covering.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Quality
