Get what I pay for.

Wire gauge too small. The internal mating pins are not molded in plastic, the pins are loose enough to be shorted prior to lamp installation.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not the best

Two out of six defectives in the pack

As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Two out of six arrived defective. One shorted out with no bulb. It is impossible to insert a light bulb into the socket, the contacts are bent inwards. The other four worked well, but I didn't expect them to withstand many lamp changes. Much luck.

The best solution! for lighting and lighting accessories

I ordered these plugs to replace old and fragile plugs on my 1982 Mazda RX7. I made side parking signs and changed the license plate bulbs from #89 to #194 to use LEDs. More common lamp and cheaper/easier to find. They worked like a charm and were pretty easy to install. Now I got state-of-the-art LEDs from a 38-year-old legend. Very happy with the results.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

The quality is so bad that they cannot be used

The quality of these sockets is so bad that they cannot be used. Please refer to the attached photo on the right comparing a regular outlet and this product. The pins are so misaligned that it is impossible to insert a lightbulb into the socket without breaking the lightbulb. Also, they are so biased that they can cause a short circuit even if they receive a lightbulb. I thought maybe it was just a faulty socket in the packaging but all six are in this condition. The product is defective and…

You get what you pay for. Read reviews

Rate an opportunity? Brightness? - produces no light. Transparency? - a rather opaque creature made of black rubber. Easy installation? I knew I would buy basic sockets and would have to do a little work to make them suitable for my project. A few things to note: 1. The copper wire is printed at 12AWG. It's not copper and it's not 12AWG. Wire 22 or 24AWG and CCA (Copper Aluminum). If the wire size is wrong, the temperature reading can be just as accurate.2. The lamp you connect is part of the…

Pretty easy and very cheap!

later These T10 lampholders have many general uses. As for me, I replaced some outdated bulb holders on my 1980 Triumph TR7. We are talking about an external lighting of the heating control that had no factory lighting. Using the original bulbs through the old green lens openings produced very poor light. Originally, Lucas 286 lamps were used, but they could be replaced with BA7S LED lamps. The problem is that the BA7S LED bulbs I found are complete rubbish and produce even less light than 40…
