I needed to add some fans to the stepper motor driver. The driver chip gets very hot when the stepper motor is loaded and can deliver around 2 amps. The fans have a high duty cycle because they turn on when the stepper motor driver turns on. That means brushless ball bearing motors are a must. After 3+ years of almost continuous use I finally needed to replace the cooling fan assembly on my Monoprice Select v2 printer so I looked around at Revain and found them. The price was right and what I particularly liked about these fans was that they are ball bearings which should last longer than cheaper bush fans and should be quieter. These fans were absolutely silent. When I connected them I didn't even understand that they worked. Silence here, however, means almost no air movement. I tried using them to cool the case of a small Pi computer. For 2.5 hours, 2 fans could not increase the operating temperature even by 1 degree. I returned them. If you're looking for a tiny, quiet fan that moves very little air then this might be for you, but if you're trying to cool something that's closed I don't recommend them.

Wow, these things run way faster than expected. I didn't read about "high speed" when purchasing as I looked for pretty much any 24V fan of this size and didn't really care about other specs. I was fixing the fan on my 3D printer and was more interested in replacing it ASAP than anything else. I was hesitant to buy these after reading some reviews but decided to buy them anyway. I'm glad I did! This fan was a great fan replacement for my laser engraver. The fan in my engraver started making noise and slowed to the point where it was barely moving air. This fan was the exact size and fitted perfectly on the back of the laser module.
