Winsome Wood 23119 Cabinet Coffee Review

I wish I had read the reviews on it before I bought it. The assembly instructions are terrible! The little box falls off the wooden rail every time I try to open it. It's terrible! It's also far too expensive to be such a terrible piece.

The cabinet looks very nice. It's a little darker than I expected, I was expecting a dark brown, but it's almost black. I haven't been able to properly install the file drawer yet, so it doesn't slide out well. I will seek help to see if this can be fixed. The rails were mounted on the side panels so I know I didn't do anything wrong in the assembly.

At this price the product needs to be assembled - or someone has to come along to assemble it. At the very least, he should have instructions in words. None of the parts are labeled, and believe me there are MANY, MANY parts. Nowhere in the product description does it say you have to assemble the whole thing! I would NEVER buy it if I knew it needed a full build. Instructions on four pages, double-sided. I was able to buy it fully assembled for a third of the price. So if you don't like jigsaw…

The description clearly says "assembly required". Very easy to assemble. The instruction manual clearly shows all the parts and their location. Assembly takes 20 to 30 minutes. The kit includes everything you need for assembly except a Phillips screwdriver. For the reviewer who said the document drawer doesn't close properly, you have drawer pages on the wrong side.
