Generally happy with this product

Overall happy with this product, however it was difficult to assemble. There are pre-drilled screw holes to attach the bars to the ends, but they were small and took a long time to complete. Elbow grease to screw them in all the way. I would suggest using a few drops of glue to attach the two middle rails as they are not screwed but simply held in place by the pressure of the top and bottom rails. The color is a little darker than in the photo. ok because i wanted something darker but couldn'tโ€ฆ

Looks good and does the job

As a quilt collector I needed another stand for some of my quilts. It was well packaged in a flat box. The assembly instructions were pretty sketchy, but it wasn't that hard to figure out what to do. Assembly definitely requires two people, as one has to hold things in place while the other tightens the included screws. This took my husband and I about half an hour. There were a few spots of damage to the paneling, but these were minor and mostly unnoticeable once the blankets were hung overโ€ฆ

Holds my 20 lb queen weighted blanket

This stand does what I wanted - holds a large weighted blanket. It's unsurprisingly constructed, but that's to be expected at this price point. Everything went fine and with some tweaking I got it good enough for my purposes. Instead of the supplied hex key, I used the same tool as in my toolbox; This allowed for a better grip and much better leverage when installing propellers. I also learned to mount it on a hard surface (not carpet) so I have a better chance of leveling it. For me it doesโ€ฆ

I would not recommend this product

After spending several hours assembling it I would not recommend this product. I followed the directions, didn't tighten the screws until everything was assembled and still ended up with a wobbly product. I had to use wood glue on the top two dowels (they don't have screws holding them in place) and I don't know if they will stay in place. It looks ok, but it would be much better if the manufacturer did this: 1) drill the holes on each dowel a little deeper; 2) all 6 dowels must be with screwsโ€ฆ

  • Good item

  • Long wait

My friend is pretty strong - he couldn't put these screws in the holes

The problem with this quilt stand is that the holes aren't big enough for the screws. As I understand it, they should be slightly smaller than the screw. But a friend stopped by to try and help me with this and he eventually suggested that probably just a drill would open up enough holes to put this thing together. My friend is pretty strong - he couldn't put those screws in the holes. The wood appeared to be of good quality as did the finish and it never occurred to me that I would encounterโ€ฆ

  • Not bad, but...

Nice looking duvet hanger, additional assembly required

Decent enough duvet hanger. Not very durable, but I mean it really shouldn't be. He only holds blankets. Rated 3 stars because it was quite difficult to assemble and had several physical imperfections (see photos). At the same time, the defects are relatively small and are easily covered with blankets. The most annoying thing was that one of the main dowels only had a pilot hole on one end, not both (see photo). Luckily I was able to just borrow my friend's drill and drill the hole myself. Iโ€ฆ
