Description of πŸ’¨ Winters Economy Pressure Display: Accurate Testing, Measuring, and Inspection

Brass wetted parts for measuring non-corrosive liquid and gas pressure. Circular dial is enclosed in a steel case for corrosion resistance. Measures pressure with dual scale (psi/kPa)/(Hg. vacuum/kPa). Display accuracy is + or - 3/2/3% over the entire range of the gauge (ASME B40.100 Grade B). Lower mount or center back male connection with either 1/8" or 1/4" NPT rate.

Fails after 3 months

After 3 months of connection to my system the needle zero point is stuck at 12psi causing all measurements are disabled. Air compressor for occasional use to inflate car/bicycle tires. The sensor was replaced with a working one after that component failed. Will not buy again due to short lifespan.

Pros
  • Measures pressure with dual scale (psi/kPa)/(Hg vacuum/kPa)
Cons
  • A newer model could have been selected

Accuracy isn't great, but good enough for me

I bought this gauge to fit a brass Watts H560 water pressure regulator that I have to protect the Piping in my RV I use. This gauge has a 1/4" NPT male thread which required an adapter so I could connect it to the 1/8" NTP female water regulator. When I compared the readings from this gauge to the other two with known accuracy, I found that they were within 5 pounds per square inch of their readings. While not accurate, given its relatively low cost, the accuracy of this sensor is good enough…

Pros
  • Round dial in a steel case to resist corrosion
Cons
  • I'll add later

Gauges didn't look the best

Took a week, easy install, used teflon tape (not included) and I have just seen a few days that it fogs up heavily when it rains. The next day when it was dry it was clear. This tells me that the device will get wet inside and will fail sooner than usual. Not sealed. You can hardly see the dial when it fogs up. It's even worse when you see the needle bouncing wildly while the pool pump is running. It looks like after backwashing the filter the pressure rating is 15 psi and only jumps from 12 to

Pros
  • Mounts bottom or back center with 1/8" or 1/4" NPT threads
Cons
  • No instructions
