Not enough silicone gel inside

These wire nuts are fine, but there isn't enough silicone gel inside to keep the water out. For this reason I will buy a better but more expensive brand next time.

Pros
  • Wire Type: Copper/Copper
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Works perfectly! in terminals

They are well made. I mainly used them for control boxes on my irrigation sprinklers because they were often submerged in water. Since I put on the waterproof wire nuts I have had no problems at all.

Pros
  • Waterproof and anti-corrosion, Easy installation
Cons
  • High price

Easy to use, just like regular wire nuts

I bought these to use on valve wires for my lawn watering system. They are simple and easy to use just like regular wire nuts. I'll have to wait and see how effective they are, so far so good. The wires would corrode and break when regular nuts were used for several years due to high humidity in the valve box.

Pros
  • For outdoor use/irrigation, outdoor/electrical splicing, for connections exposed to condensation, water, steam or dust
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
