Much better than expected.

Installation instructions could be better. I needed technical help with a problem. This was easily resolved. Camera and monitor work well.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not the best

BIG CAMERA The best in automotive electronics

The camera works great. I had to buy a 90 degree SMA adapter to get the antenna closer to the monitor. There was a gap issue when using an existing dash mounting pad. I had to make a mounting plate to mount under the pickup truck body because of the knob on the wiring harness.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • A few tricks

BAD Engineering - Automotive Backup Cameras

I don't like the fact that the wire from the backup light to the transmitter was too short, I had to add another 5 feet of wire. (2) The terminals they send to connect the wires are also junk and cheap. I ended up using a Sodering gun and heat shrink tubing. I installed the device on a 2003 GMC Envoy.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Nuances Received

Good basic system suitable for automotive electronics

it seems like a quality unit for the price. I bought this to work as a camera in an enclosed trailer that I'm towing. To that end, wireless communication was key. Installation was easy. Took me about an hour to install and power it up. The display is a bit small, but the picture was pretty good considering this device costs $70. However, night vision was useless. Unless there is a setting or mode to turn it on, I haven't seen anything in a trailer with the lights off and the door closed. So for

backup camera for my camper van

I installed this device on the license plate of my 15ft camper trailer. I managed to thread a wire through the license plate light. The transmitter was installed in the storage compartment, power is supplied via the cigarette lighter. The monitor is in my RAV4. I tried the device for the first time today driving home from the dealership in the rain. The image was sharp and offered a wide viewing angle, as if you were looking in both rear-view mirrors at the same time, with of course the ability

There may be a problem with the installation

Now that I've finally gotten this device to work, I'd say it's very good. Getting to this point, however, was uninteresting and took weeks. Some buttons on the back of the monitor don't work well, others don't work at all. Several correspondences with the company eventually resolved a series of issues that prevented operations. Problems included getting an outdated "manual" with the original device, getting a slightly updated one that still doesn't fix any issues, and finally getting a true…

  • Everything is fine!

  • poorly thought out
