I bought the sound system because it connected to my TV and had a remote control. The remote control doesn't work and never did. I had the impression that I would get a new remote control. That didn't happen.

I am very happy with my purchase as the sound improvement is just what I needed for my TV and DVD which have weak sound. Now I can make the sound louder, plus the remote control is very manual. Many Thanks.

Very crisp highs, pair it with a subwoofer and it will fulfill all your surround sound needs. I use it in my guest room and get compliments on how clear it sounds. The remote control lets me control from the couch, the ease of use is incredible.

Because my TV's speakers are on the back, I bought this so the people outside the room don't hear more movies than the people watching TV. I'm happy with this decision. When I connect my DVD player, instead of plugging the red and white wires into the TV, I just plug them into this soundbar. This is easily fixed by letting the person watching TV hear more about the movie.

I bought it on black friday. I have connected various new ones according to the instructions (1 TV was only a week old) but there is no sound! I've gone through all the options because I don't quite understand how to connect various television components. As a result, I had to resort to the option of plugging the headset into the TV. I like this unit BUT (here it is - always but) I have a Samsung TV. When I change channels, the speaker beeps and increases or decreases the volume. When the TV is used without being charged (the charger is always connected). it makes a strange noise like a phone ringing. It's not bad. Then the sound is what I think. But for the $30 price tag, if it has those quirks, it's worth spending a few bucks more and getting a better one

The speaker connected easily to our projector and the sound quality was decent. The remote control was unusable from the start. Luckily the speaker is at the head of the bed so we had easy access. Sometimes it randomly turned off and we just had to turn it off and on again. About 6 months after purchase, the charging connector wobbled. We had to wrap the cable around the speaker to hold it up. After a few months, everything stopped working together. Now the column will not charge at all.

Can't say it's bad. Everything is OK. Continuous white noise comes out of the speaker. The louder you turn it on, the worse the noise. However, if you turn it up loud enough, the dialogue becomes a bit clearer - which is what I wanted/needed in a speaker. High frequencies are too loud. The low end isn't bad, and I'm glad it's not too low. The average range is so-so. If you turn it on so that the dialogue is clearly audible, you get too much white noise, so it defeats the purpose. As long as it lasted everything was fine - not spectacular but good. There were definitely some quirks - the remote wasn't very responsive and at times the speaker would beep and then go silent for a few seconds before the sound came back and this repeated until it decided to stop what could be 10 or 15 minutes. Annoying, of course, but I made up. Unfortunately he dropped out yesterday. It worked, then turned off the sound and now it doesn't work at all. Tried mute button, volume up and down…
