Fully met my needs!

I couldn't find the right color for my floors in any local store so I tried Revain and found this product. It comes rolled up in a box, which means you'll need to prepare it to lay flat. I spread it out on the floor and put heavy objects on the ends to push it down. A few days later it was smooth. I trim off the excess against my metal square with a razor blade knife to get a clean, straight cut. Cutting wasn't too difficult, but it required muscle power. I have an extension cord and speaker…

Pros
  • Hides cables and cords for a smooth, trip-free surface.
Cons
  • faded

Proper preparation is essential

Everyone says it's an installation problem. You're right. You need to properly prepare for the installation as well as many other things. I said I unrolled the strip and flexed and flexed it for about 10 minutes to try and smooth it out. Then I put it outside on a flat surface, put the magazine on one end and put a concrete block on top of the magazine. I tightened it and did the same with the other end. I left it like that in the sun all day. In the meantime, I prepped the hardwood floor I…

Pros
  • Cut to any length: with scissors or utility knife.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Works but not for show and requires preparation

Although the material is thick (which is good), good quality and works (after prep as others suggest) it's no show. Like many others, my floor cable protector had large visible fringes on the top. Unlike others, I had no ink stains on the top. As I use it in my basement/study and it is dark brown the scuffs are acceptable for work. The manufacturer's video shows that it comes with double sided tape and it looks like the tape is holding it flat. . It will not. Even if the tape keeps it straight…

Pros
  • Hides wires and cables: Creates a slick surface not to be tripped over.
Cons
  • boring packaging
