The measuring cup had a broken handle right out of the box. No attempt was made to protect it in transit. The plastic is flimsy and cheap especially where the handle is, not at all surprised that it broke during shipping after seeing how flimsy the plastic is. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake and pass it on

One star is all it's worth. Certainly not worth the price either. It's meant to be used in the car, so it has to run on chemicals, however the letters on the side are simply printed on it and will disappear immediately if certain chemicals come into contact with the thermometer, rendering it useless without a reading. I recommend finding one with raised letters so they don't come loose. I do not recommend this product.

Graduations are useless as other reviewers have said. There are so many of them and they are so close together that they cannot be used. Even if you could do heads or tails, they wouldn't even be remotely accurate. I used a very precise measuring tool to verify the accuracy of this measuring jar and found that the graduations are nowhere near true. The container seems to work well for filling and pouring, but I'd advise looking elsewhere if you plan to use it as a gauge.

The mug is a smaller version of the 1 liter mug that I love so much. Both came with a label (shown in the photo) that is almost impossible to remove. The label for the 1 liter cup has been in the dishwasher at least 10 times and although the seal has come off, a tough layer of paper has remained on it. The container is well built and has a physically convenient design so I bought it. But the gradations don't add up mathematically. For example, on the US side, the first label is 1/4 qt. The next label is 1/2 quart. 1/4 quart is 8 ounces and 1/2 quart is 16 ounces, but there are 13 graduations (marks) in between! From 1/2 quart to 1 quart (16 oz) there are 25 of them!
