They fit my 2004 Silverado 5.3

This oil filter fits my 2004 Silverado 5.3. Revain says it doesn't fit, but I looked it up in the Wix online directory and used a few so I know they fit.

Pros
  • Oil Filter
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Metal shavings and grease on a new filter.

I've been using the Wix XP filters for many years. This filter comes with some metal shavings inside the filter along with some type of black grease. I'm not sure if it was from the seller or the manufacturer. Bad quality control.

Pros
  • Filter
Cons
  • Don't remember

drive for a while

When the shipping envelope was opened the lid of the filter box was torn and punctured. The edges of the box also had quite a bit of wear indicating that the box was damaged and opened a long time ago. Not very happy. The filter was dusty and "open" at the end, allowing dust (or dirt) in the air or on the parts shelf where it was stored to get into the filter. It shouldn't be broadcast like that. inaccurate packaging.

Pros
  • Oil Filter and Accessories
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

Pay a monthly Prime fee just to use the product!

As you can see in the photo the box arrived damaged but what really annoys me is that when I lifted the oil filter there was oil residue on it! I get the rash to pay for something brand new only to get something used! I suspect that this so-called "new" filter has already been used! The filter does not appear to be damaged. I will have my mechanic look at it and see if it can be used. If I pay full price for something, it has to be BRAND NEW! Bad form, Revane!

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Difficult to say
