Made in the USA from parts

Take apart a used part and you will see quality parts. The anti-riot flapper valve is made of fairly tough Teflon. The filter and mesh material is specially made for synthetic oils as they offer maximum flow.

  • This is amazing

Wix is best for spares

I'm a big fan of both Wix and Napa Gold (which I've been told is made by Wix). This Wix filter was installed just like the OEM and the oil looks great after 3 weeks although the previous oil color was very dark. I recently bought a car and needed an oil change.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Faulty

Wix is the best. for spares

I have done a lot of research on oil filters including analyzing tests where filters were cut after use. Wix is the best there is. I have been in the automotive industry for over 40 years. Frame filters are garbage. Use Wix. First class materials and construction.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Almost never

The only true. You will not regret it.

These are the best filters money can buy. Better than all competitors. Don't be stingy and get a FRAM filter, it's the real deal and unlike FRAM, it's not junk right away! This is the only filter I will be using on my Jeep.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • bad impression

Get the best, get Wix!

Wix Filters is by far the best filter you can use. They are comparable in price, so why not use them? When you look at reviews on YouTube, each filter is compared to Wix. So why not just buy Wix and forget about finding something better? You've already figured it out! Everything that needs a filter, car, ATV, and electronics is in this homestead!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No achievement

Not for Toro SW4200

I love Wix filters but this filter cannot be used as an oil filter replacement for Toro TimeCutter SW4200 (24.5hp V-Twin Toro engine). The center of the filter base sticks out too far causing the filter to fall off once the gasket begins to seat causing the filter to leak through the gasket a little. The Wix 51394 and Napa 1394 options look like they have the same base boards, so I suspect they won't fit either. I have successfully used a Fram TG4967 but was looking for a better filter.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I think the Wix XP series is the best oil filter you can buy.

I consider the Wix XP series to be the best oil filter you can buy. The frequency of oil changes depends on whether you fall under "heavy duty" or not. If you drive in extremely dusty conditions, pull heavy loads, or mainly drive stop and go, I would change the oil and filter twice as often. Under normal driving conditions, you can safely drive 10-15,000 miles between oil changes with the Wix XP filter along with synthetic oil. I would cut that in half or even more in heavy riding conditions…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
