works great for my Acura mdx for both transmission and power steering return lines. 3/8" lines. Why this is not in the description is not clear.

I put it in the return line from the Honda Odyssey radiator. It fits the line perfectly, does not flow. (although cutting the line will cause fluid to leak, which is unsurprising)

Install this filter as a supplement to the filter in the transmission. I hooked it up to the transmission cooler return line. A little extra insurance keeps the gearbox clean. I use a 14 liter Deral sump and a MishiMoto transmission cooler.

I used one like this as the line filter from my automatic transmission cooler. I only changed it to keep track. I cut it open, I love that in addition to the filter element there is a magnet inside to trap dirt. Seems to be a quality filter.

Advertised for Honda but this is a 3/8 inch general purpose filter that will suit many applications. I use it on my 2002 Town and Country. I prefer production. However, this block seems to do the same job and is easy to install. These blocks generally help limit metal buildup in my sump. I change about every 30,000 miles.

Today I received my filter and there was a Filtran filter in the wix box. This is now my third Wix filter and the rest have been Wix branded. I thought maybe someone changed the filter and came back, but after a bit of googling it turned out that Wix has now been renamed to Filtran Filter. I think they forgot to remove the label and attach the Wix label. One star is not based on performance as I don't know how it will perform (will be back) but on the fact that Filtran filters can be bought for
