Expected quality from Wix

This is a good filter. The metal is thicker than the cheap ones I picked up. The filter grille looks decent. The seal is made of reinforced rubber, which is nice and can be reused. It also includes a small O-ring that fits into the valve body.

There are 2 different sizes of gaskets for a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback

I finally swapped out the gasket for my wife's 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback (it's been a bloody cold time) I have it all unscrewed. I cleaned it and put a gasket on it, but it's not the right size. I use the "garage" function here and everyone says it suits the car. I checked local auto parts stores and no one could find this particular gasket. Oh, and the filter is all wrong. Not sure what the heck happened but then I just went to Revain to see how to return an item and the return deadline was…
