Amazing volume! on Electrical

Great sound great looks but you have to pay for it. The horn is all metal and the compressor is lightweight and compact. Love it! sounds like a train whistle, only a little quieter!

Perfect replacement for Truck Horn

It's loud enough to get people's attention without being obnoxious. I will most likely upgrade the supercharger to be very loud, but it was easy to fit into my Tahoe.

annoying neighbors

Good kit. Ease of installation. For the money this is a great deal. Install it on our boat and the sound really cuts through the water. Might have to get a second horn just so everyone around the marina doesn't get mad at us.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No machine gun

Great horn and very pretty

Taken and installed on my Toyota Tundra under the hood above the engine shield, it's very loud and I haven't used it in anger on my trips to Houston yet. Traffic. IMPRESSIVE! someone will be surprised. This horn is so loud I bought a 125 Dominator for my bike. hang up and go! The horns are metal, not cheap plastic, the chrome is very good.

  • Sturdy construction

Might be the perfect train horn in a confined space

I bought a Wolo 844 train horn and it worked fine with a direct drive compressor but what I found really made it wake up and a real train horn its horn is designed to add a traditional train horn compressor and tiny air tank. The good news is that since this kit features one of the most efficient horns that doesn't require a lot of air, all you need is a tiny, under 1 gallon canister. I used a 0.7 gallon tank and it allows for limitless hum. When you press it it sounds like a loud horn but when

Not worth it.: Lighting and Electrical

I really liked how this horn sounded online and how impressive it looked. I ordered it for my RV which had plenty of room to install it. PLEASE NOTE that it CANNOT be installed outside the vehicle. If even a few drops of rainwater get on the horns, they stop working. Then you need to take each horn apart and dry a small, brittle plastic disc. After the horn was mounted back down to the street, it still wasn't very loud. I contacted WOLO and for $58 they sent me an upgraded air compressor which…

Good quality horns but not that loud

I like the horns, they are well made even for heavy use. They're not all that loud, you barely hear them with the diesel truck running and I have less than 8" hose to the compressor, no kinks, I'll be upgrading to an air receiver rig anyway so not a big deal but I figured they would be a bit louder! UPDATE! 2/22/14 I bought the compressor at Harbor Freight for $39 and also bought a solenoid for $20 here and a 2000w inverter for $75 here and also the inverter has a remote control which I bought…

  • Great overall performance
