Love sockwell socks

I started wearing sock well sicks on long travel trips by land, sea, or by car a few years ago. Recently I damaged one of the tendons in my foot and was getting late day swelling around my ankle. The socks work (in my opinion) to help stave off the swelling and my legs feel great. Now that the residual swelling is gone I wear the socks any day I know I will be on my feet for long hours. I have quite the collection. They are super cute and they work. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Pros
  • These socks are great! They really help keep my legs comfortable when standing for any length of time.
Cons
  • The sizing may not fit all foot shapes

Worth the money!: my feedback

These are awesome! They definitely hug your calf but in a good way. I bought these to help my circulation. I loved them so much I just bought 4 more pair! I love that they look cute too on top of being functional.

Pros
  • Reduces the risk of spider veins
Cons
  • They may not provide enough cushioning for those with foot pain

Love them! on my review.

I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital. Lots of walking and standing. My legs and feet were killing me. These make a huge difference. My legs and feet don't ache any more! They are a snug fit, but that's the point. I bought the proper size for my shoe size, even though I have rather chubby ankles and calves, they fit just fine. They have stretched out a bit after a couple months of wash and wear, so not quite as snug, but still do the job. Also, I was worried they would make me feel hot since I…

Pros
  • Antimicrobial properties help prevent odor
Cons
  • The compression may be too strong for some people

I've been using compression stocking since my first day of clinicals in nursing school. Now 11 years in the profession I'm still using them. Call me old school, but I much rather prefer using those nylon compressions paired with a cute knee high (I get mine at target). Maybe because I'm use to it, but it is softer against the skin and it feels like there's better pressure. I do wear these when I'm out of my nylon ones, but it feels like it doesn't give as much pressure as the nylon ones. I…

Pros
  • Lightweight and breathable
Cons
  • They may not provide enough compression for post-surgery recovery

Not Really Good at Compression

If you are buying these to simply wear as socks, likely you could find a better price in some regular knee socks. I had expected these socks to give me some support and unfortunately, I do not feel that they meet the grade for doing this. While the price was high, I bought them in addition to some Mojo compression socks as they were a bit more trendy/wearable as socks. My recommendation if you are looking for compression socks is to go with the Mojo, they do what they say they do - not…

Pros
  • Can be worn under pants without bulk
Cons
  • They may not provide enough support for those with ankle sprains

Effective and comfortable on long flights

Wore on recent overseas long flights. Worked exceptionally well. Comfortable. Can’t rate on longevity as only recent purchase and use. Haven’t used for work out either but assume would work well.

Pros
  • Available in a range of sizes to fit all feet
Cons
  • The compression may cause discomfort around the calf

Sport Socks - Perfect for Pregnancy!

These comfortable socks were perfect for me during pregnancy. It was the perfect amount of support to keep my ankles from ballooning up. They held up after wearing them on a regular basis. They stood up to frequent washing and didn't lose any elasticity. Similar to my favorite smart wool socks, they didn't get "stinky" after wearing them for long periods of time. A major bonus was that they were sporty looking enough that I wasn't embarrassed by their look!

Pros
  • Provides compression from the ankle up to the knee
Cons
  • The sock may develop holes after repeated use

First timers: Buy these. Buy these now.

These things are great. For anyone looking to try compression socks for the first time, please buy these. The level of compression is perfect for me (a first timer). If you are on the fence about sizing, for the love of God, go up. I'm an 8.5 and am so glad I went with the larger size. (Because let's face it: I'm an 8.5 when I'm not on a 10 hour flight. Who knows what size I am then.) They are so cute that my friends want to buy them as regular socks.

Pros
  • Can help with swelling caused by injury
Cons
  • The compression may cause discomfort in the thigh area

Comfortable compression socks

Great for travel and everyday wear. And they do dry overnight provided you roll them up in a towel to press out as much water as possible before hanging them over a shower or towel rod to dry. Also, as another person noted, it's possible to wear them two days in a row before washing, which makes them good for travel.

Pros
  • August 24, 2012
Cons
  • The sock material may not hold up well after multiple washings

Not quite right for my legs

They're comfortable and go up to my knee, but they seem looser than they should be around my ankles and feet and too tight on my calves. I wear a size 9.5 shoe but have narrow feet. I got the medium/large, I think the small/medium would fit better on my ankles but there's no way they'd work on my calves. It's hard to tell if they're helping reduce muscle cramps after running, I think they are but only if I wear them for a really long time, like all day or overnight. Maybe this is just how…

Pros
  • Perfect for those recovering from surgery
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for people with certain skin sensitivities

Relief for tired nurse legs.

I'm a nurse and these socks work wonders. I used to wear clogs (danskos) to help relieve leg and foot fatigue, however, I work on a floor where I often need to walk/jog/run down the hall and came precariously close to turning and ankle and dying while wearing my danskos. I tried a smaller size, which provided a bit more stability, but just angered my feet. So, I went back to sneakers and comfortable feet/stable ankles, but fatigued legs at the end of a 12 hour shift. Then I found these socks…

Pros
  • Can be worn year-round
Cons
  • The sizing chart may be inaccurate for some people

helpful for long-distance flights

I'd never tried compression socks before, but these were comfortable and look decent. I wear size 10.5 women's shoes and have larger calves, and they fit me well and were easy to put on. I used them for 13.5 hour flights, and felt much more comfortable than I have on 4-6 hour flights in the past. I did have to launder and line dry them while traveling, and while they weren't quick dry, they did dry in a day or so, and they were ready and clean for my return trip.

Pros
  • Great for long-distance runners
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for people with certain foot surgeries

Worth it, for sure!

These are my new favorite compression socks for work! I'm an ICU nurse and let me tell ya.these socks get the job done! In addition to a certain shoe insert that i just stumbled upon, I be had a really rough 12hour shift yesterday and my legs felt lile they could keep going! :)

Pros
  • Made from a soft and comfortable blend of materials
Cons
  • The toe stitching may cause irritation

Comfortable and feel great!

I am a new nurse and was looking for support while I'm on my feet for 12 hours. This is the second pair of Sockwell compression socks and I love them! My feet and legs feel great after a long day. I am a size 8 shoe with narrow feet and smaller calves. I have a size small and I think they fit perfect! I will never be able to go without compression socks again!

Pros
  • Perfect for those with a desk job
Cons
  • The sock material may pill easily

I love these socks on my review.

I love these socks! The quality is as good as others I have bought from the same company. These fit me the best and I have very large calves. I will say I am only 5'3" so they do have to be folded over at the knee by about 1/2-3/4 inch.

Pros
  • Available in stylish patterns and colors
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for people with certain foot infections

GrowEat for reducing swelling!

Fantastic compression socks. Plus their video of how to put them on was really helpful. I’ve used other compression socks in the past, and didn’t put them on in the manner recommended by sockwell. I was really concerned about us8ng compression socks, as I have a broken ankle, knee and pelvic injury - hit by a car while on a bicycle - and couldn’t imagine how I’d get them on! Not only was it easy and pain-free, but swelling is going down by wearing them. Granted, part of the improvement is…

Pros
  • Can help with circulation issues caused by obesity
Cons
  • The sock may slide around inside a shoe
