⌚ Seiko Women's Japanese-Quartz Stainless Steel Dress Watch with Brown Leather Calfskin Strap, Size 14 (Model: SXDG98) Review

A few weeks ago, my wife's watch broke. I bought her another watch that had more "bling" but she wanted something more "understated" but still classy. I sent her a couple of links to different watches and she settled on this Seiko watch. The watch came in the mail. she inserted. and in short, she loves it.

Looks better in real life than the attached photos, the dial is whiter without the pink tint you see in the image on the product page. The crown pulls out fairly easily, the fast date dial works great, the seconds hand really hits the mark (YMMV), overall a very stylish looking piece, my wife loved it. As another reviewer noted, the crown was fitted and the watch was working when I received it, but I couldn't see any signs of previous use.

I had a Seiko "Solar" watch that I bought 4 years ago. It was a pretty watch with a two-tone dial and a reddish leather strap. There was a date on the watch and it was easy to read. I liked it very much and wore it often. It died about 2 months ago and I sent it to Seiko for repairs. The warranty is only 2 months old. They sent me a repair quote for $136. Well that aside, I knew it would be ridiculous to have it fixed and since the warranty was out it pretty much was, so I had it shipped back…
