I made 12 different bookmarks out of it for 12 students in my class. The thread was easy to work with, even in color and thickness, and quite strong. Not quite DMC quality but cheaper enough to be worth buying and it definitely achieved what I wanted from it.

Bought for large stitch quilting - beautiful colors and shine. Also suitable for embroidery or crocheting. I liked it so much that I bought another set as a gift for my daughter-in-law. The only downside is that the bottom of each is an open tube, not a neatly rolled "ball" like the top. Therefore, it tends to fall off the pipe when working. Doesn't wrap around like traditional crocheted cotton.

I didn't like Wonderfil threads. I bought all four Alison Glass kits as I have never used Wonderfil thread. The colors are great. The thread quality is not the same. I have found that the thread wears out a lot, often snapping or breaking in the middle. I trim length and length to avoid this problem but it still happens. I've found this to be common with white/cream and lighter colors, but most colors. So far I've found that the only color that works as expected is dark green. Otherwise I go…
