Solid, it does what it's supposed to do. Scan. There are other ways to use this device, but we only used it to scan tickets at an event. This is a workhorse. There were a few and they all worked great. You can even use them with many tablets and phones that support the performance you need. Pretty cool.

The best review I can give is that I've bought over 75 of these to use in our shop in the last year or so. They just work. Even in a machine shop with machines hanging by the side of machines splattered with coolant (but not much), they keep working. I have bought them repeatedly every time I need them and you can feel safe too.

Don't like it. If you are a Mac user, this is . The barcode scanner has expired and you need to disconnect and reconnect it and rescan the codes for it to work. If you work with it at all non-stop, it works as intended. However if you stop for 5 minutes and literally 5 minutes the scanner will not work until you restart it. :( I think you get what you pay for

Works right out of the box. Very simple plug and play, you just need to reset it from time to time when it's not scanning properly by scanning the barcode sheet that comes with the kit, no rocket scientist required. find out. Somewhat cheap workmanship but for the price paid I'm not complaining, the most important thing is that this item works as expected :+)

I only use it to scan comics into my laptop but I've had it for a few months now (received it in September 2014), use it from time to time and haven't had any problems with it. It's not too harsh either, but I wish the cable was a bit longer. Otherwise, it's intuitive, feels good in the hand, is lightweight, and is ready to use as soon as you plug it in. No complaints so far and happy to update if anything changes.

Requires no software to be installed (most barcode scanners don't require it and actually emulates a USB keyboard) and for 1/5 the price it works the same as our $100 scanners .
