Not even worth it as a frame

I was planning on using this frame for framing finished cross stitches rather than using it to hold the fabric while I worked but even for that they suck. Left little pieces of wood everywhere and kept popping up when I tried to tighten the tire. I won't be buying them again although I liked that there were six in a pack.

Pros
  • Frame
Cons
  • High price

Screws are missing

Received these today and the hoop is good quality. Not great, not great, but ok. Like other reviewers, I had an issue with missing turnbuckles. I ordered six 10" tires and only four of them came with bolts, rendering two of them unusable. I'm frustrated that I have to call Revain to fix it, but I think it's still better than buying four separate tires.

Pros
  • Embroidery
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Weak missing parts

Bought 6 packs and 3 of them were missing tire bolts; Also, one of them (the bottom one in the picture) was completely broken. Needless to say they are flimsy and I hope to get 1 out of 6 useful items. The ONLY reason I would EVER recommend them is the same reason I bought them: Darice seems to be the only brand capable of making wooden hoops that are true to size. Most wooden hoops are too small for my purposes. If that's not a priority for you, avoid these tires!

Pros
  • Handwork
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
