Work well and just start.

I've just driven a few hundred of these up cedar fences with no problems. Thanks to the star/torx drive, they are much easier to assemble than Phillips screws. As for the other reviews that claim it doesn't start off easy. They ran flawlessly and started easily when they crashed into cedar fences backed by pressure-treated 2x4s. For this application they work great.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

These are not good screws. They don't bite when entering.

Torex screws I use every day and a lot. These are not good screws. They do not bite when penetrating wood. I have to press hard on the drill bit and it stops and revs up before biting. I've used other Woodpro screws and never had a problem, but these are by far the worst torx screws I've ever used.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Good enough. on screws

Good outdoor screws at a good price. Designed for processed lumber. The asterisk works well: it doesn't slip. Holds up well. Contains an asterisk, but it's short. You will most likely need a longer drive or use one with an extension cord. As mentioned, the screws can be a bit difficult to tighten at times, but for my use (fencing) they are acceptable. Not as good as Hillman Pro Outdoor screws, but good enough.

Pros
  • handy article
Cons
  • so far so good
