The yarn is excellent for these reasons

The yarn is excellent for these reasons: It is smooth, soft and springy to the touch, perfect in color and odorless. As fall approaches I would like each skein to be offered in earth tones and larger sizes.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great for felt items

This yarn is one of the cheapest 100% wool yarns I've found. I have been using Wool of the Andes for many years because it feels so good. Knit Picks also makes other very good and reasonably priced yarns. I made a pair of socks from her sockyarn a few years ago and they are still in good condition. Washable wool yarn is another great choice for everything from sweaters to mittens.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some shades

Good yarn and price

Excellent yarn. I'm knitting a cardigan for my aunt with it and so far I'm happy with the price and quality of this yarn. Only for people expecting it to be super soft it won't be. It stings when worn on bare skin. So if you're making a sweater, it's best to wear a shirt or turtleneck underneath. TO UPDATE. The cardigan is ready, it turned out very well. I am attaching photos of it. I used 11 skeins of yarn to make a cardigan this size.

Pros
  • ALL-PURPOSE YARN: This durable, all-purpose yarn is ideal for braids, intricate winter sweaters, textured stitches and everyday accessories; also nice rolled
Cons
  • flimsy

UTERIA ARE BROKEN INTO MANY SCRAP

Extremely disappointed. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. I cannot stress this information enough. The skeins come in small pieces of 6", 8" 2" and randomly. A skein is not a long skein or length of yarn. I've never come across anything like this. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary TINY Balls of yarn. Then I start my project and the yarn starts coming out in torn random pieces. I had to stop my project and buy yarn elsewhere because I ended up with about 50 random pieces of yarn.

Pros
  • CALCULATION: For knitting with needles 4.5 - 5 sts = 1" on needles US 6-9; For knitting with 11-14 dc = 4" on needle IK
Cons
  • you could choose a newer model

Tablets, tablets and more tablets

I fell in love with this yarn while knitting a sweater for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and says it's soft, warm and doesn't itch. He opened his gift, put it on and after 5 minutes the sweater fell off. He wanted to wear it to work but it unrolls so quickly he wouldn't wear it outside the house. I took a cloth razor with me every day. I'm not sure how long that will take. I have 100% wool sweaters that I made for myself and they don't shed that much (they itch and don't come inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash in warm water and dry flat; Yarn can felt with warm water and shaking
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
