The socks have comfortable "fluff" on the inside. I bought them primarily as in-home slippers, so I felt that 50% wool would be a good compromise and more durable. (I also prefer that sets of socks all be the same color to simplify matching, and life as some wear out sooner.)We do laundry with weak eco-friendly soap and hot water and dryer set on hot. I washed one pair to see the effect. They did shrink. But the material stretches and they still fit my size 9 foot comfortably.

I work 12hr shifts, like most Americans, so in work boots 14hr’s a day. For me and most of the folks I work with wool socks are a must. They breathe a 100 times better than cotton socks and provide a little extra cushion. These are not cheap 5 for $5.00 socks. Average going rate on good wool socks are $10 - 20 a pair. These are consistent with other brands that I have purchased in quality and cost. Pairs last around 3 years.

These are nice socks. Although listed as "hiking" socks, they came labeled as "casual" socks. I am inclined to rate them somewhere in between. They are not as thick as I would like for hiking socks, but definitely too thick for casual wear. I wore them over a pair of liners, and they seemed to work in my Danner boots.

Comfortable materials and no shipping problems. Unfortunately these socks do not fit me for any portion of my leg above the ankle. I have very average legs, I'm not overweight, do not have Herculean bicycle rider calves, or "cankles" as mentioned in the very funny movie Shallow Hal. I really wish they would have fit, however my wife can wear them around the house like slippers so they will not totally go to waste.

I’m a 13 shoe and was skeptical of the sizing L fitting. Surprise my toes have wiggle room & length without stretching the heel out. The wool, nylon, elastic blend are comfortable. Hand wash not so much , washer & line dry if they shrink my wife will enjoy them.

Very thick socks. I wore them with my heavy hiking boots on a fairly hot day and they were much more comfy than my thin, conventional socks.and no sweaty feet🤠

Best socks I have bought in decades. These socks are like walking on a new carpet barefoot, but better. They keep your feet warm, but breathe really well as not to make them sweaty. They don't break down and mat as the day goes on either. Low circulation keeps my feet normally cold, but these socks have been a blessing, well worth the cost, and I am wearing the ones I bought a couple of years ago.

These sock pairs came individually packed in custom ziplock slider bags. They are super comfortable for teleworking with cold downstairs floors (I should have installed heating elements).
