This cable lock is perfect for use on my bike to secure bags/helmets and to keep (relatively) honest people honest. The cable is strong and the lock itself turns smoothly and easily. Resetting the combo isn't difficult - the instructions on the box are clear and easy to understand and follow. If you lose the pack instructions and want to reset the combo, you can find instructions online at the Wordlock website. The lock was sent to me ahead of schedule. ideal for kids who play sports

good lock. It won't deter determined thieves, but then I wouldn't use it to find anything of value. For a kids bike under $150, that's great. and our son loves it because he can choose his own combination, word! This made it a lot funnier and easier to remember. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the limited number of words available. Thinking about it, actually suggesting a 4 letter word (removable/interchangeable letter keys?) would be very difficult, but it wasn't clear…

Ideal for children and forgetful people.

We bought this for my 8.5 year old daughter to lock up her bike at school and we love it! Unlike more complex combination locks, my daughter was able to successfully close and open this lock on the first try. I taught her to thread it through the frame and front wheel and she was riding - or shall we say, rolling. I did not use the included clip to secure the lock to the bike when not in use. . I just asked my daughter to wrap it around the steering wheel. I almost took off a star for having to

Setting up the lock combination was very easy. Clip for attaching the lock to the bike.

The lock combination is very easy to set up. The bike lock clip works reasonably well and the cable and locking mechanism are thicker than others I've seen. I'm probably stating the obvious here, but this won't secure U-style locks or HD chain locks. So if you're looking to secure your stuff in places like Chicago's South Side for long periods of time, get something else. .
