Easy cutting of mattresses and box springs with 18 inch cutter

I bought 18 inch cutters to cut mattresses and box spring beds. It cut through all the steel with little effort. The cloth and metal were thrown into the trash can and the firewood into the fire. Left in a pickup.

Pros
 • Stylish and modern design
Cons
 • Something different

Cuts best with hand tools

Unless I've forgotten how to use bolt cutters, this product is useless. I believe my lock is 1/4 inch. Even though it's 5/16" I should have done more damage than the pictures show. I put all my strength and weight into the incision and tried 5 times to no avail. Also the rubber grips on the handle are slipping.

Pros
 • Elegant design
Cons
 • I don't remember but there was something

Bought for my bug bag because traversing fences is much less dangerous than traversing fences. They are durable, well made and have a comfortable grip. The price is comparable to what you would buy from places like Harbor Freight Tools, but the quality is probably a notch or two higher.

Pros
 • Cool product
Cons
 • Low repairability

Cracked metal, WorkPro never responded

One day has passed. The main lock would not cut through and the metal broke off at the cutters. One cut and they're torn and chipped. Low quality. To be honest I'm glad it happened sooner rather than later so I can send them back. Unfortunately it took too long to get them back and WorkPro ignored my emails. do not recommend this company

Pros
 • Note: Cutting locks is not recommended
Cons
 • Slightly dented

Cut chain link guards like butter

I ordered these bolt cutters to trim the chain link guard from some stumps that had grown into the guard. These bolt cutters worked great! The compact size made them easy to use and the grips on the handles gave me good leverage. Haven't tried them on anything else yet, but I think they will be able to cut thicker metal as well. Very happy with them and one less thing to borrow from my neighbor!

Pros
 • Classic lever design and finely tuned blades add extra leverage with less effort
Cons
 • No automatic

Perfect for what I need

I didn't buy it for regular use. I had to break 2 mattresses because our local junkyard was closed to the public (due to Covid). After removing all the fabric and stuffing I was left with 2 very strong sets of springs and bobbins. I decided to buy bolt cutters and cut them all to make them easier to throw away. These bolt cutters worked surprisingly well. I had to cut each spring and coil because they were all connected and then I had to cut the outer wire wrap into small pieces. We're talking…

Pros
 • Cutting capacity: Hrc≤42: 7/32 inch (5mm max); HRC<25: 1/4 inch (6mm max)
Cons
 • So far so good
