1/2 inch bristles are missing.

1/2" bristles missing. Item returned as defective for a refund. Where there is a blank for a valid reason, the manufacturer/seller must state this in the product description.

It was worn out but still worked better than this one

I wish I could keep my old brush, it was worn out but still worked better than this one. I look in the big stores and it seems like they are selling the same type now too. Dust and dirt get caught in the bristles and when you turn off the vacuum, they fall to the floor instead of into the vacuum.

save your money for vacuum cleaner parts and accessories

I try to review everything I buy and be truthful and honest about what I review. I bought this in addition to a 4 gallon portable vacuum. I had high hopes for this item because the items from the workshop seem to be really high quality items. But not that, this brush is just cheap junk, the nylon bristles get sucked in by the suction and hold their own power really badly. I went to the local Sears and bought the craft version there, it's much better. I would not recommend buying

It's not worth it. for brushes

Just when you thought you couldn't make things any worse, this product came to prove you wrong. The bristles are stiff and tend to scratch smooth surfaces. They also fall out, one or two at a time while I'm using it. It sort of says I actually notice them falling out because you would expect the loose stubble to be sucked up. But no, that's not possible either. The holder on my vacuum cleaner is very loose, I usually have to hold it with my hand or it will fall off. I will replace it soon.

Absolutely useless best brushes

I buy Revain in bulk. I have rarely received a product so badly that I had to return it - maybe twice in 10 years. This is one of two. Weak bristles, about half what would be needed even if they were stronger, plus a 1/2 inch gap in the bristle circle. (No kidding!) To compensate for the grossly inadequate bristles, the designer lengthened the inner plastic piece, which acts as a support for the bristles but only marks what's being sucked. Not only should buyers not buy it, Revain should not…

Fits and works well

This brush head fits standard 2 1/2" vacuum tips and is well built overall. Take the offense. The only complaint I have, and not just at What's wrong with this brush is that they don't force the brush element to cover the entire perimeter of the unit. For some reason almost all brushes like these I've had a small gap in the brush material for some reason.I suspect it's due to sort of a production constraint, but it limits the suction efficiency that can be achieved with a brush.Once the brush…

The layers of bristles are very thin, only 2 rows thick.

I paid a few bucks more for this brush thinking it would be better quality. I was disappointed to see that the layers of bristles are thin, only two rows deep. You can't see that in any of the pictures. It also looks like the bristles are made of plastic rather than natural, soft horsehair. To be honest I haven't tried it yet. So I'll update it once I use it a few times. Now I've used it and lowered the rating from 2 stars to 1. The brush does a good job of removing dust from surfaces. But it…

When simple foods go bad.

It's hard to screw up something as simple as a vacuum cleaner attachment, at least I thought so. The bristles of this nozzle are not pressed into the plastic and are not even firmly bonded to it. They are attached to a strip of metal, which is then bent around the mouth of a plastic nozzle. This may be okay IF the bristles actually go around the mouth. The item I received has a gap of about 1/2 inch. As a result, I have very poor suction power. Also, since the bristles have to wrap around…
