I bought this hose for my 4 gallon 5hp Ridgid wet/dry vacuum. The original hose broke after a few weeks. This hose is very well made and also fits our old 16 gallon 6HP Ridgid. The outside of the hose is a little smoother than most, which helps ensure it doesn't scratch or ruin other surfaces you pass. Highly recommended.

The red lever connector was a little stubborn but fitted perfectly and matches my hard vacuum perfectly. The hose has a good quality feel and is much more kink resistant as the number of ribs is tripled near the joints at both ends. The length makes it much more useful, you don't have to jerk the vacuum cleaner with every movement during use. Overall it's MUCH better than the one that came with my vacuum and cheaper than a long spare hard hose! Thumbs up!

I really like this hose! We have an old Crafstman dry/wet vacuum and the original hose ended up cracking and rupturing. We researched different hoses and decided to try this one and loved it! As all Shop-Vac branded products seem to be limited or out of stock at the moment my only choice was to try this brand. Other reviewers said it doesn't match Shop-Vac brand vacuums, but it does. Got this to match a Craftsman Shop vacuum. The part number is listed on my vacuum's accessory list. Installing an adapter on an existing vacuum hose (to use it as an extension of how it's intended to be used) is less than miraculous. I got a "ring" of the hose up to the adapter on the first try.
