Generally a good heat gun. The wireless connection increases the utility of the heat gun so it can be used for an outdoor project like working on my car. Overall a good article.

This unit was well packaged, I was impressed. I fully charged the battery and decided to check the block operations. The device turned on and warmed up very well, then it did NOT turn off! I disconnected the battery and tried again with the same result. Of course, this is a return to Revain.

I like the convenience of the battery but it doesn't get as hot or blow as much as a corded device. The battery is decent, but I wouldn't call it long-lasting. I make sure it's fully charged when I start a project, rather than relying on what's left when I take it out of my bag. Still nice when I need warmth off the fork.

I ended up buying (and returning) two of these. The first one I bought just kept working until the battery was removed. I thought it was coincidence so I sent it back and ordered another one. The second could not even be tested because either the battery or the charger was defective. Revain was great and I was able to return a second one too. I would not recommend this device.

Definitely not for professionals but good for occasional users. I have DeWalt tools and was about to order their heat gun and saw these. I chose this one because it's cheaper and most importantly it reduces the wear and tear that can happen to my expensive batteries. So yes, the thing is cheap, but it works and I've taken care of the extended warranty in case it breaks.

Excellent quality! Works perfect. gets hot so be careful. It has a 5-7 second cooldown after you release the trigger. Heat guns are rarely used but when I need them I don't have them. So when I broke the screen on my old MacBook Pro, it was cheaper to buy new glass and this heat gun and do it yourself.
