Worth Legit Slowpitch Softball Pitcher's Mask Series: Protect Yourself in Style! Review

The foam that goes on the head is separated from the shell. It's glued, so if that happens, you've screwed it up badly! Everything else is alright. But it's a big deal when the foam separates from the shell. I've had it for less than a year.

Good helmet before it fell apart after less than 10 uses. Used multiple times before the pandemic. After that I used it twice and during play it fell apart between the shell and the foam. I asked if it was worth replacing, but it was bought immediately in 2019, b4, everything was muffled. One way to support your security products is cost/rawlings (parent company). Don't buy, not sure.

Good quality for the most part. On par with the much more expensive black and gold Miken mask. However, both the mic and this decent mask share the same problem: the strap that is part of the ratchet has slim pieces of plastic, and when the mask is tightened a certain amount the thin piece of plastic breaks, rendering the entire ratchet ineffective. Another gripe is that it doesn't quite fit big heads like mine.

I received the mask on March 21st and the strap on my back broke while playing last night April 23rd. The helmet no longer tightens and is practically unusable. Too bad because it was a replacement for my old mask which has been working without problems for 3 years now. Comparing them, it looks like they changed the brand of plastic and straps that focused more on economy than durability. Still waiting to see if it can be replaced at the company

Worked about 3/4 of the season then the inner seal fell out. If you look at it, it's two thin strips of glue that were used. I've included a mask a couple of times to keep track of pop-ups, but you'd think a product from a company like Worth would be responsible for these types of hits. It was nice. It also stayed snug while running or diving, which was nice. I'll try a better glue like Fuze-It or similar and see if it holds together next season.

I used the helmet for the first time, the feeling is excellent, I didn't mind running at all. Stayed in place the whole time I broke the ball. The helmet has a few dead zones when you look down, but it's worth it when you think about your safety. The helmet feels strong and light. I will update the rating when I use it more. This is my second Slowpitch softball pitcher mask. I bought it because my first one was worn out. The plastic head size adjuster was badly worn. I play a lot and I don't want to be without a helmet. It arrived in good condition but around the same time Covid broke out and I was never able to use it. I continued to use my original helmet. Playing with this mask makes me feel more confident. I was playing in a tournament and I got a screamer and I didn't go crazy, I didn't overreact; I hit the ball and got out. Without a mask I dive and pray that I dive properly. Haven't been able to use it often since the seasons have been cut due to the global pandemic and all, but the adjustable chin pad is good and the mask is good. really comfortable. All of this is surprisingly simple; much lighter than the catcher's mask. The bars distract
