Playing with this mask makes me feel more confident. I was playing in a tournament and I got a screamer and I didn't go crazy, I didn't overreact; I hit the ball and got out. Without a mask I dive and pray that I dive properly. Haven't been able to use it often since the seasons have been cut due to the global pandemic and all, but the adjustable chin pad is good and the mask is good. really comfortable. All of this is surprisingly simple; much lighter than the catcher's mask. The bars distract from your peripheral vision a bit, but that's nothing major. If you want to feel confident pitching slowly or even playing in a hot turn, get this mask. It's a bit pricey but it protects your face and for me it's worth the price.
