If I would just rely on regular rectangular adapters, I wouldn't be able to charge anything on my Airbnb in Switzerland. Luckily I got them, they worked great with my iPad and MacBook chargers.

I definitely recommend buying these for travel. I use an adapter for my Mac, just swap the detachable American outlet for a European one! There were no problems with this. It didn't short out my computer or anything like that.

I used these on my Macbook during a 6 month trip to Italy. They worked great and saved me from having to use an extra adapter on the end of my North American (NEMA) plugs. Fit and finish were not very good. They were a bit stiff and didn't fit together perfectly, but worked well enough.

Worked during our work trip to Spain. I sometimes wish I'd gone with a cord and not just a plug adapter as the power adapter often fell out of the wall - it seems the European outlet just doesn't have the holding power of the North American style, especially in hotels and trains Stations commonly used in public places.

We visit France often. It's always nice to have a native plugin as Apple power supplies are essentially universal. Supplied with plug adapter required. They fit perfectly, although they are wider than the power supply itself due to the crazy French plugs. I've read that the weight (of the power converter) can cause problems, but I haven't experienced it myself.

These adapters "just work". The fit is snug but not too tight. By extending from the base to the plug, Apple power supplies are somewhat cantilevered. But this additional load did not cause any problems in operation. Apple has an official travel kit but only ships one of these adapters. If that's all you need, this is the more economical solution.

Used them for about a month in 4 different countries (Denmark, Italy, Germany and Austria) and they worked perfectly, even in the Italian and German country with unreliable power supply. I've used them on a couple of Apple's 12w devices (which come with the iPad) and to charge an iPad Pro, iPad Mini, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 7 and they all charged properly with no issues. (And no warnings like third-party accessories). Highly recommend, I was skeptical because of the price but can't say enough

Ordered knowing the price might match the quality. But at first it didn't fit my Mac power adapter. I had to put it on but it was very difficult to take it off. Compared to the plugging and unplugging of the US plug I currently have on my adapter, it felt like breaking the adapter when trying to unplug this plug. I tried both in the set and both had the same problem. I'm sure this works fine for some people, but it's definitely not worth messing around with the power adapter just to turn it on.
