Description of πŸ” WOWOONE MQ-135 Starter Kit for Detection Module

These gas sensor modules with signal output indicator light and with a long service life and reliable stability. The dual signal output (analog output and TTL output). The analog output and increased with the increase of concentration, the higher the concentration higher voltage. Using high-sensitivity chips LM393, MQ-x gas sensing probe, has a very high sensitivity to sulfide, benzene vapor, smoke and other harmful gases. Quick response and recovery characteristics. The probe can be plug design, convenient test.

What is that? Where is the registration certificate?

A bunch of bags, no special list, no instructions for what they need! COMPLETELY USELESS if I can't tell which sensor and how to connect them!

Pros
  • Fast triggering and triggering behavior. The probe can be plug-in design, a convenient test
Cons
  • I will write later

High quality hardware but no user manual

These sensors are decent hardware devices once you understand how to use them. There was absolutely no support, not even a website address to download user manuals or other documents. I searched the net until I found what I needed for ONE of the sensors (CO sensor). What a waste of time. It would be helpful if the seller could provide user manuals, datasheets or something similar. to help us understand how to wire these things up, turn them on, and interpret their output.

Pros
  • Analog output and increases with concentration, higher concentration means higher voltage
Cons
  • High price

One sensor broke, the other was cold soldered.

Of course, these sensors are quite easy to use and work. I can't confirm how accurate they are, but on a low scientific basis, the presence of a flame or butane near the sensors will pick it up. I would use the unified MQ gas sensor library. Not very difficult to use for the average programmer. Now if one of the sensors didn't have a blown chip and the other sensor needed re-soldering so I could get a clean connection I would give this product two more stars. A quick tip to get you started with

Pros
  • Dual signal output (analog output and TTL output)
Cons
  • piggy bank price
