The product looked very interesting on the pictures, but in reality it was very disappointing. First off, I don't know what it's made of, but it appears to be some sort of semi-toxic foam. It gives me a headache and leaves dirty marks on my hands. Great product but too easy for my son. We got this for our 10 year old 10th birthday. He was very excited to put it together. He sat down with his siblings and, with our help in setting it up, made it in 2 hours. Now he wants all 3D Hari Potter puzzles lol. I've since found out that this is a smaller combo standalone version of Diagon Alley that suits me. When you open the box for the first time, you should go through all the pieces and take out the ones marked in red. This is a waste from the manufacturing process that is unlikely to be disposed of due to the way the item was made. It takes a few minutes to sort these parts, and you can sort the real parts while you do it. I suggest by color to facilitate the assembly process.
