📐 Wrights 1-Inch to 10-Inch Companion Angle Tool Review

I bought a special ruler to use the Easy Angle in class because the teacher recommended it. This makes cutting certain shapes easier; You don't have to rely on math and regular rulers. While it does what it says on the tin, I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't for the class.

I followed the instructions for making flying geese using this ruler and the Easy Angle ruler but couldn't get them to rotate properly. However, I've used it to make half square triangles out of a precut strip of fabric and it worked great. It will be useful, but maybe not as useful as I thought.

I purchased this template at the recommendation of Bonnie Hunter, a quilter. I find this very useful for cutting trapezoids from strips and scraps to use in making flying geese etc. I've found it necessary to add some non-slip stickers to keep the stencil from moving while cutting, but I do this with most of my acrylic paint rulers and templates, so it's not a problem for me.
